Égalité partners with senior agency leadership to identify opportunities for LGBT-favorable policy changes to be made. For example, Égalité has successfully lobbied for the adoption of transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits. Because of our efforts, Digitas, Leo Burnett, MSL, Publicis, Publicis Healthcare Communication Group, Razorfish, Starcom MediaVest Group and ZenithOptimedia scored a perfect 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s 2014 Corporate Equality Index. 



Égalité organizes various informational seminars. Previous topics have included adoption and financial planning for LGBT couples, how to be an effective LGBT ally, gender identity and being trans in the workplace and how to market successfully to members of the LGBT community. Égalité also provides agency-wide awareness surrounding events such as National Coming Out Day and Spirit Day.


Égalité engages with the external LGBT community by helping to raise funds and volunteer time to benefit  programs and organizations such as AIDS Walks, the Ali Forney Center for homeless LGBT youth, Lambda Legal, LGBT career fairs, Projects Angel Food and Chicken Soup and many  others. Internally, Égalité also organizes a variety of community-building programs with a social slant.

Égalité hosted the first “advertising to LGBTs” panel during Advertising Week, successfully lobbied for Publicis Groupe to be an Advocate-level sponsor of the Out & Equal  Summit For Workplace Equality (2012 – 2014) and provides its agencies with business-building intelligence regarding the LGBT market.

Égalité (French for Equality and pronounced eh-gah-lee-tay) is the Publicis Groupe employee network for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) professionals and allies. Our programming is open to all Publicis Groupe employees!


Égalité is committed to enhancing the company's reputation as an employer of choice for LGBT employees and allies by promoting equality in the workplace, supporting the LGBT community and helping to develop leaders who can elevate our clients' brands within the hearts and minds of the LGBT community. Our programming is focused around advocacy, education, community outreach (internal and external) and business development.

Égalité is proud to have partnered with many of Publicis Groupe's agencies to help them achieve a perfect score on the HRC's 2017 Corporate Equality Index.
