Advocacy, education, community outreach and business development are the four pillars around which Égalité chapters across the country organize their programming. Ideating and executing programming around the first three have been relatively easy to tackle, but business development has been trickier because of the confidentiality agreements by which all Égalité members are bound, as members of their respective agencies. For this reason, we are always looking for ways to build business within the confines of our construct. Our members have collaborated on a number of inter-agency pro bono assignments, inspired new business opportunities by documenting brand activity and opportunities in the Market Pulse and Building Business section of this newsletter, and most recently by coming together to deliver a panel during ADWEEK 2015 titled Marketing to the LGBT Consumer In 2016 and Beyond.
